A **prompt template** is a wiki-page that we create that is structured to create generative ai-based microservices for Platform Earth.
# Prompt
A prompt is simply a short piece of text that is usedby the ai-based microservice to instruct and give context to the instruction syou wish the service to follow. It is a form of instruction (code) that is expressed in natural language. It's a way to interact with artificial intelligence, like asking a question to get information or requesting assistance with a task.
